Redondo Residence is a 2,100-square-foot furnishing project in Redondo Beach, CA, designed to blend contemporary Spanish architecture with layered textures.
This thoughtfully curated home was designed for a couple and their two dogs, honoring the property’s original character—arched doorways, plaster walls, and warm wood accents—while creating a serene, pet-friendly interior rooted in quiet luxury. A soft palette of taupes, beiges, and warm whites complements the home’s architectural language and brings a sense of calm and cohesion to each space.
Organic materials and muted tones were layered to evoke warmth and timelessness, resulting in a space that feels both tailored and relaxed.
Materials & Mood
Custom furnishings, upholstered in high-performance fabrics, were selected with durability and elegance in mind. Linen drapery, boucle ottomans, and handwoven rugs add tactile richness without overwhelming the design. The oversized, down-filled sofa anchors the living room with comfort and presence, while subtle detailing—like brushed plaster finishes and sculptural accessories—elevate the overall tone.
Blending California casual with traditional Spanish influence, the home tells a quiet, personal story.
